When we take on a new client we have already spent some time with you on the phone determining where you feel the issues lie and what you feel you need. During this discovery phase you will be working almost exclusively with our owner Vanessa Bowker. She will take notes and make knowledgeable suggestions on how best to get your books cleaned up and squared away. During this period we will come up with a game plan for the necessary steps to get your bookkeeping organized and accurate.
Our next step, which can be the most time consuming, is a thorough review of your Chart of Accounts, your Profit and Loss Statement, and your Balance Sheet. These reviews allow us to catch any errors that exist in your books. This review period can involve a fair amount of contact with our new clients while we get the books cleaned up and get the game plan in place so that we have a clear and concise roadmap for moving forward.
Once we have a clean set of books we move forward to monthly bookkeeping. We are over the hump here and now have a clean and effective process set up. This is when things become rote and our clients start to understand the process and know that they can trust in the process. You have now reached the point that you no longer feel a nagging sense that your books are in disarray. You feel a sense of relief at this point. And now you can get back to running your business. Or growing your business. Or living your life.
